Inspiration Board for Generating Discussions
Below are hybrid event ideas curated for medium to large size conferences.
Ideas to connect with your audiences.
Ideas to connect with your audiences.
Bring your virtual audience into the physical room & stage
Bring virtual attendees together onto the screen and on stage
Projector map virtual attendees on adjacent walls or surfaces
Give presenters very large confidence monitors showing faces of the virtual audience
Inspired by ultra-wide LED or projection surfaces - allowing for picture in picture and placing the virtual audience in different areas
Can also be utilized for remote call-in presenters and panelists
This is a shared experience for virtual & live attendees.
Live attendees can also be given access to chat or submit Q&A through another application and the sources can be aggregated together
Similar concept to the Virtual Live Audience, except with the chat function, allowing it to be shown on stage, off stage and/or in confidence monitors
Bring the chat into the program on stage - There are ways to stylize it before it goes on screen
Give presenters very large confidence monitors showing them the chat feed
This is a shared experience for virtual & live attendees.
Encourage presenters to utilize live polling and voting
Allows all attendees to simultaneously vote with real time results

For hybrid events, we generally will include the camera feed for the virtual audience also on projection or LED screens. This is referred to as IMAG and is great for larger venues. We also do have the capabilities of gimbal stabilized wireless cameras to create engaging content for both audiences.
This is a shared experience for virtual & live attendees.
Similar concept to the Virtual Live Audience, except with chat & social feeds
Show on stage, off stage and/or in confidence monitors
Bring Social feeds into the program on stage, such as Twitter & Instagram hashtag Social Walls (reviewed by moderator)
This is a shared experience for virtual & live attendees.
Allows friendly competition for prizes
Allows virtual & live attendees to be on the same team
This aligns well with the giveaways and interaction used in Unstoppable’s recent virtual event
This is a shared experience for virtual & live attendees.
All attendees are emailed a link where they can take a photo or boomerang on their phones, tablet or laptop within a custom branded photo skin
Activation stations could be placed throughout the venue to further encourage in person attendees to participate
All of these photos can be integrated throughout the conference on different displays (both in person and virtually) and posted on social media
This may be broken out as separate experiences at times, here would be an example of this.
Virtual Audience receives a drink recipe & ingredients for a signature cocktail
Virtual Audience has a 5 minute live segment from a bartender showing them how it’s made and they can follow along
Live Audience can also watch this live in person, but without them actually making it themselves
Live Audience can order a signature cocktail from the bar
For networking, the live audience may just mingle as they see fit but a more structured approach could be taken for the virtual audience
Virtual audience can have a virtual moderator who would give out a series of questions or speaking topics then assign virtual attendees into breakout rooms to discuss for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. Then they would bring back everyone together, do a few prize games, then split to breakout rooms again for another short topic discussion. We have used this structure for many virtual events and it has worked great!
More Experimental Approach: Setup “Zoom Booths” throughout the are where live attendees would have short conversations with virtual attendees.
This is a shared experience for virtual & live attendees.
Live bands, comedians or other forms of entertainment are a great way to keep both a live and virtual audience engaged together
Multiple camera angles and high quality video production is key to keeping the virtual audience engaged as well

“We worked with Pinnacle for the Washington Pavilion’s virtual Arts Night event. Their team produced a seamless program, streaming on two platforms and allowing us to focus on the fundraising. They were proactive in their communication and were exceptional to work with. We had a phenomenal experience and will absolutely use them again.”
“On behalf of the entire team at the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra, THANK YOU, for a job expertly done on the first-ever SDSO Gala At Home on Saturday. We are receiving many compliments from Board and community members about the seamlessness of the event, the high production value, and the sophisticated product you delivered. From the music videos (which look and sounded fantastic) to the in-the-moment cutaways during the event (technically flawless), your attention to detail and commitment to an excellence exceeded our expectations.”
“Pinnacle Productions elevated our virtual state arts conference to the next level. When hit with Covid restrictions and our need to keep our arts community safe, we reached out to Pinnacle to help use transition from an in-person event to an all virtual event. We didn’t want attendees to feel like they were sitting on a Zoom meeting all day, and Pinnacle made that happen with interactive arts happy hours, virtual performances by artists & musicians and “live from” remote tours of our host city.
Their creativity and willingness to try new things made this a top arts event in our state. We highly recommend them to take your event to the next level in the virtual world.”
“Pinnacle Productions produced the live stream video of my recent event, and I’m very impressed. First of all, they had perfect communication - their emails were well organized and thorough without being overwhelming. They asked the necessary questions to produce exactly what I wanted, but they did not waste my time with any more questions than necessary.
Pinnacle Productions over-delivered. I had high expectations of a quality product, but they still managed to surpass them. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Pinnacle Productions. Hiring this team will make your life easier and make you look good.”
“The entire Pinnacle Productions team is a joy to work with! They have partnered with SME Sioux Falls to live stream our monthly membership meetings and are working along side us to produce our two largest events. Throughout the unknowns of events being postponed and switching to virtual, Chris, Jeff, and team have been professional, very responsive and easy to communicate with. They take the time to listen and find the best solution to meet our needs. Their willingness to go above and beyond to make an event the very best is second to none!”
“I’m so grateful for the opportunity our non-profit had to work with the Pinnacle Productions team. The production value and experience this team continues to offer is second-to-none. We couldn’t have executed a successful virtual event without someone like Pinnacle standing behind us. Thanks to this talented team for making our vision a reality!”
“Pinnacle Productions is hands down the best production crew I have ever worked with. The only trait that exceeds their professionalism is their talent and skill. We were impressed from our first interaction, which was a custom web proposal, through the final post-production loadout. Each step of the way, they were creative, thought provoking and exceptionally skilled. Jeff has an incredible eye for detail and fully understands how to make the production have the exact feel we wanted to convey to our donors. Each deliverable arrived early – not on time – EARLY, even when we provided last-minute changes. When we were nervous about hosting our first virtual event EVER, Chris, Jeff and the Pinnacle crew stepped in and walked with us to produce what is already being called the best event in our history. By results alone, in a year when there was much doubt about how our gala fundraiser would turn out – with Pinnacle’s help, we set another new fundraising record! I will absolutely use Pinnacle again and recommend everyone else to use them as well!”
We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to work with you!
