School Dances require a different skill set than any other event that we do. The students are much more in tune with the “new” music and will request the hottest music playing on the radio and videos that “MTV” used to play. Sound systems that you can FEEL, and lighting that creates the energy required to pull the students in for a rocking good time.
Proms, Sadie Hawkins dances, Homecomings are big occasions in the school year. The students look forward to these events and want to be entertained with music that’s both familiar and usually, loud! Theme parties, props, and glow items (necklaces, bracelets, etc) can help provide more fun and enjoyment for everyone involved.
Radio Edits & Requests
All our music is the top 40 radio editions and are free of profanity for OBVIOUS reasons. We also handle requests from all types of music but also will play appropriate music and we do not play everything that is requested. Dance-able vs. Popular… Some music that is popular isn’t necessarily dance able. A veteran entertainer can weed out the requests that are dance able and make every effort to keep the students dancing and having a great time!
