Jeff and Kathy’s Simple & Awesome DIY Wedding
Saturday February 18th, 2012 Jeff and Kathy Heitkamp and 100 of their closest friends and family gathered at the beautiful Old 77 Bar and Grille for a night of singing and dancing. It was a low key affair with relaxed dress codes (bride in a white sun dress and the groom in khaki cargo shorts, a hawaiian shirt, and flip flops) that everyone enjoyed. The bride and groom prepared some snacks for the guests and the brides youngest daughter prepared a slideshow with clips from Jeff and Kathy’s destination wedding two weeks earlier in Jamaica!
I (Chris) have known the bride and groom for approx 7 years when they first sang with us at a local karaoke show. Since then they have showed up to several of our events and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them over the last few years. Throughout the night, many karaoke singers and many dancers were participating busting a move or flexing their golden pipes, and as the dust settled at the end of the night… A great time was had by all!
Jeff and Kathy, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your celebration. The greatest honor we have as entertainers is when acquantances become your friends and plan their wedding around your schedules. I couldn’t be more honored to have been a part of your day, and a friend in your lives. Thank you and may your lives together be long and prosperous!

Kylie’s Karaoke Korner
Ny line up for this last weekend went great! Friday I was at Gold Rush and that’s always a wonderful time. Bar staff is always having just as much fun as the bar goers! We had a birthday party, and a bachelorette party! I love getting people hyped up to sing, dance, or just listen to the music.
Saturday It was a party at the Pocket! There was a golf tournament early in the night but when the music started so did the fun! We danced to the Cupid shuffle and sang the night away! I love how music, singing, and dancing brings the whole bar together. We definitely had an amazing night.
That’s it until Next Week!
John Jones Karaoke Post
Hey guys and gals! John Jones here for your weekly update. Pinnacle productions had the party jumping this week at my show! We rocked it in Gary, SD. The population was small but these folks knew how to have fun in a big way. Gary Liquor was the bar and we had people from all around flocking down to have a good time. There were 3 weddings in or around town that had patrons show up to sing and dance the night away. The best part was when the best man from one of the wedding groups gave an impromptu speech before singing a song dedicated to all his friends and family. Till next week, this has been John Jones. Hope to see you all down at one of our shows!
