Saturday, August11th, 2012 was the day Ryan and Rebecca Mager became
husband and wife. Their friends and family all celebrated with them at the
Knights of Columbus in Sioux Falls, SD.
This was no ordinary couple, and they chose to have a couple of their
favorite restaurants cater for their reception. The guests all
enjoyed subs from Subway, pizza from Pizza Hut, and broasted chicken
and mashed potatoes from Pizza Ranch! After all the guests enjoyed
the buffet of food, we all took pleasure in watching a slide show that
showcased Ryan and Rebecca’s lives growing up and as a young couple
Andrew, the best man led the toasts; he did a great job and didn’t
embarrass Ryan too much Anna, the Maid of Honor followed him, and
she was more emotional and congratulated the newlywed couple and
wished them luck with their future life together. Ryan and Rebecca
closed the speeches by thanking everyone for coming and encouraging
them to stay and have a great time at the dance.
Ryan and Rebecca began the dance with “Somewhere Only We Know”, by Glee.
When we were finished with the formal dances, we opened the floor up
to everyone…. Aunts, Uncles, cousins, grandma’s; they all came out
to dance. The guests made special requests all night and everyone
danced the night away in celebration with the new Mr. and Mrs. Mager!
Thank-you so much Ryan and Rebecca! Pinnacle Productions wishes you
two many happy years together!
Kelsey and Chris’s wedding reception was one for the ages! We had the honor of working with this special couple this past weekend (8/4/12) at the Holiday Inn Express of Brandon SD… From our first meeting with the newlyweds (They saw me “Chris” perform for a wedding of one of their friends) I knew this was going to be a fun, festive affair. The newlyweds share this “Zest” for life and the love they share makes you long for the same! They are a fun, infectious couple who are truly “meant to be”.
The room was set in a beautiful shade of Purple uplighting to compliment the equally gorgeous centerpieces and a stunning cake as well as a Harley Davidson inspired monogram over the head table. The opening weekend of Sturgis motorcycle rally was a perfect time ☺
The bridal party was welcomed and introduced to the awaiting party goers to “Flo Rida’s – Good Feelin’ With fist pumps and hands clapping the friends and family cheered on the newlyweds as they entered.
The blessing was given by Pastor Doug Van Art Son who’s message of love & faith resonated well with those in attendance. The meal was catered by Tony’s Catering and featured a feast of roast beef, pork loin, green beans, cheesy potato casserole, and fresh fruit. All of which contributed to this entertainer having to use another notch in the belt ☺
The speeches started with our beautiful co-maids of honor Carley and Whitney Postma sharing stories about Kelsey trying to “Get their butts” and finished with a loving recount of how Chris cared for their entire family and not just their sister.
Following the lovely ladies toast our best man Tony Burns recounted a heart felt story about friendship and family and how distance couldn’t separate the best friends and how happy Tony was that his best friend found his soul mate. With a voice broken by emotion and a tear in his eye he concluded by telling them how much he loved them and that this was just the beginning of a beautiful life.
Kelsey’s father Delwyn took up the bread of the parents sandwich, first starting off by telling the crowd how they met Chris. Kelsey invited her beau to meet her parents and told them he would be riding his Harley Davidson from Okoboji to meet them. Delwyn proceded to discuss his fear of the stereo typical “biker” and was happy to see his fears squashed in their first hour long conversation.
The meat of the sandwich was Corinne’s recollection of how difficult it was to “let” Chris take Kelsey to Sturgis for the rally knowing she would be celebrating her 21st birthday. She also told us about how Chris helped her “roll” her shirts and jeans to fit in a backpack and how hard that was for her daughter to fit that little amount of “crap” for a trip of that length. She finished her speech by sharing the last words she told him before they left on the motorcycle, and how he promised he would take good care of her. She didn’t know it was meant to be for a lifetime as she now did…
Delwyn again grabbed the mic and shared the wishes of Kelsey and Chris to donate the money they would have used for party favors to a worthy cause. Chris didn’t know that Kelsey had chosen Jarrid Allens “Wounded Warriors Charity”. He then followed up a cued video sent by none other than Jarrid Allen himself, personally thanking them for their contribution to help another hero find a home.
It was now time for the dancing portion of the evening to begin. We did have to tear some tables and chairs down to get the show on the road but there was an undeniable atmosphere of fun, and energy that was built.
The evenings celebrities shared their first dance to Michael Buble’s – Everything followed by Delwyn and his lil girl sharing a dance to Heartlands – I Loved her first. Chris then proceeded to dance with his loving mother Shannon to Rascal Flatts – My Wish. The last formal dance was the Bridal party cutting a rug to LMFAO’s _ Party Rock Anthem!
I know how we often discuss how much fun the dances are (and they certainly are) but there was just something EXTRA.. The dance floor was literally rockin’ all night long! From the very beginning to the absolute last songs, the wanted more.
At the stroke of midnight finishing with Chingy’s – Holidae Inn the dance floor was still packed and we were collectively energized from an amazing evening full of memories, stories, and the most important thing….. Kelsey and Chris’s sharing their day with their loved ones.
On behalf of myself and our entire team at Pinnacle Productions Lighting and Sound Design thank you for inviting us into your lives, for sharing your day and allowing us to help create and design a beautiful reception for an equally beautiful (inside and out) couple! Kelsey and Chris thank you! On a day where you should be selfish, you were selfless in your donation to a great cause, and in your wanting everyone to enjoy the evening. I would like to simply state…. Mission Accomplished!
Saturday, August 4th, was a magnificent day for the Vlastuin Wedding
and Reception. The reception was held at the Tea Event Hall, in Tea, South Dakota.
The hall was decorated with greens and oranges. All the flower
arrangements, candles, and uplights added that touch or elegance the
couple was looking for!
The bridal party arrived around 6pm, and we did the introductions, BUT
not at all in a “normal” fashion. We began with the bridesmaids, they
danced into the hall one at a time to the song “Raise Your Glass”, by
Pink. We then announced the groomsmen, also one at a time to the NWO
HollyWood Theme. We announced they just like they do at all the
beginning of professional basketball games, “starting groomsman for

MVP’s for the evening…. MR. & MRS. JORDAN VLASTUIN, then we switched
the music to the first verse of “Wild Ones”, by FloRida. All the
bridesmaid and groomsmen waiting on the dance floor for the bride and
groom and they all danced to the remain of the song. Every guest was
out of there chair clapping and cheering for Jordan and Noelle. It
was an amazing way to begin a reception.
Once everyone was seated they served the food, and we watched a slide
show Noelle and Jordan prepared for everyone. We then listened to
toasts from the best man Jarod, and maid of honor Nikki. The new
couple cut the cake and all the Aunts cut the rest and served the
Then it was time to begin the dance. Jordan and Noelle chose a song
by Lady Antebellum, “When You Got A Good Thing”. After we moved into
the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances.
Then we opened the dance floor up to everyone, and they all joined the
dance. Guests were requesting music from Frank Sinatra to Cat Daddy.
It was an amazing time…
I even recruited a future DJ for Pinnacle, Delany the flower girl, I
will be calling you in 15 years
I would like to say Thank-You to Jordan and Noelle for choosing
Pinnacle Productions to be part of YOUR wedding day!!!
The picture below says everyone there had an amazing time and will
never forget your reception!
Sioux Falls Wedding Dj’s Pinnacle Productions Own Louie Recap Chantel + Beau’s Wedding Celebration at Grand Falls Convention Center & Casino
This last weekend I (Louie Meijia) was able to perform for a wedding for the first time at the new casino in Larchwood, IA at the Grand Falls Convention Center. Not only did I know that it was going to be a fun day but the couple that got married were two friends of mine that I graduated high school with. I ould like to congratulate Mr. And Mrs. Beau and Chantel Huddelson.
I played on the football team with Beau for 4 years and was in the Academy of Finance with Chantel for 3 years. I was excited to know that they were a couple and had a 3 year old son named Quinton who they love so very much.
The night started off with a fun introduction of the bridal party to Bring’em Out by T.I. As the dinner was about to start they didn’t know who could do a toast and blessing so they had asked me to wing it for them. So I can now say that I have given a toast and blessing at a wedding. They thought I had winged it pretty well. T
hey kept the crowd entertained during dinner with a fantastic photo booth for friends and family. Also want to would like to thank the staff at the casino they did a great job working with us. After the first dances I could honestly say that after the dance, the floor was packed with people until the very end.
They had a dollar dance that lasted well over 6 songs so they had a chance to mingle with many of their guest. Also would like to say nice job to Troy Johnson who sold the brides garter for a hefty sum . And the boquet was caught by the most adorable little flower girl.
As the final song of the night the bride and groom danced to Just a Kiss by Lady Anntebella. Next year I have a ten year reunion for my high school and is going to be great to see them again and talk about the great times we had at their wedding. So once again we would like to Thank and Congratulate Beau and Chantel Huddelson and wish them a long time of happiness on behalf of Pinnacle Productions and myself Louie Mejia.
