Sioux Falls Wedding DJ’s Pinnacle Productions Recaps Jess and Ben’s Wedding In Russell MN
On their 7 Year anniversary of their very first date Jessica and Ben were united in marriage in Russel MN with a huge reception following at the Russell Community Center. The venue was at capacity with over 250 of their closest friends and family gathered to help the couple celebrate their day.
We were treated to great food and great speeches from our best man and maid of honor. Dan (our best man) gave an awesome speech regarding the grooms nickname of “Poon” and the fact that he was the only one of the roomates who owned a laptop, and his uncanny “love” of Phil Collins. He recited the lyrics of “Sussudio” right before we cued up the chorus of the song much to the crowd’s delight!
Not to be outdone our maid of honor Amber gave more of a heartfelt speech about her role in the bridal party and the fact that Jess asked Ambers sister to see if it would be okay for her to ask if Amber would indeed be her maid of honor. She also recited stories about the love the newlyweds share and how honored she was to be standing up for her on this day!
The dance started with Jessica and Ben sharing their first dance to “I won’t give up” by Jason Mraz. Jessica’s father Richard had a special surprise for his dance with his daughter. We told a story about the “bait” the duo used to catch wish (peanuts) and she was given a gift as well. He had wrapped a “hello kitty” fishing pole to give to his daughter as they danced to Trace Adkins- Just Fishin’.
The tables were tore down to make room for the evenings open dancing and we enjoyed the normal bridal dance songs, mixed in with several modern dance songs for young and young at heart!
All in all it was a great night filled with some truly memorable moments from friends, family, and our couple. Ben and Jessica, thank you for allowing us the honor to host, entertain, and celebrate with the two of you on you anniversary
