Sioux Falls Wedding Dj Pinnacle Productions Recaps Mike and Rachel’s Wedding Celebration
Saturday, May 12th, Pinnacle Production had the privilege to work with
Mike and Rachel Gordon for both their wedding ceremony and reception. The
ceremony was held at the beautiful McKennan Sunken Gardens, and featured several family members contributing to the service. The grooms uncle Terry was the officiant and the musical entertainment was provided by the brides cousins who performed beautifully on their cellos before, during, and after the service.
Immediately following the ceremony, everyone proceeded to the Museum of Visual
Materials for the reception and cocktail hour awaiting the bridal party’s arrival. The evenings celebrities joined the party to Lady Gaga’s “Marry Tonight” to an appreciative group of their family and friends.
Mike and Rachedl chose to share their first dances right after the introduction to their favorite song Separate by Trampled by Turtles.
Steve Zaudtke, the father of the bride opened the reception and
welcomed everyone. Chef Jeni then began by serving salads, main menu
with table style dinning, and followed by a tray of desserts. The
food was simply divine! During dessert, we all
enjoyed a slide show that Mike and Rachel had prepared.
Then began the toast; Steve went first and had one of the best
“Father” toast I have every heard. He told us things he has learned
about Mike, and things he KNOWS about Rachel, in the sense to “warn”
each other about them. Jeff Gordon, Mike’s brother then came up and
did the Best Man toast, which included some very amusing stories about
Mike! Then is was Jessica Lehman, sister to Rachel and Matron of
Honors turn. She with the help of Sarah Meils and Matthew Zaudtke,
sister and brother to Rachel, made a slide show to go along with their
speeches. They all told things that Rachel has taught them growing
up, some good and some bad
The dance began shortly after the speeches and was opened with “Just
Dance”, by Lady Gaga… If you can’t notice, Rachel is a HUGE Lady
Gaga fan! The dance continued and many request were made, but the
most popular request was “Love Shack” by the B52′s… This is a song
that Mike has a personal hatred toward, and all his friends know of
this. I was offered a large amount to money to play this song, but,
due to Mike’s request; it was not played, LOL…
A big THANKS to Walter and Holli from Studio Blu; you guys are amazing
to work with!!! And let’s not forget about LinusBlu… he helped me keep
people entertained during the dance. With all his crazy props and
fun posses, the night was a huge success
Congrats Mike and Rachel, we wish you two many years of happiness together!
Sioux Falls Wedding Dj’s Pinnacle Productions Recap Addie and Jeff’s Brookings Wedding Celebration
Saturday May 19th Addie and Jeffery Borah celebrated their wedding day in grand style. The reception portion of the days events was held at the Days Inn of Brookings SD where guests were welcomed to a beautiful display of floral arrangements, stunning centerpieces, a candy bar, photobooth, and beautiful uplighting in the pastel shades of Pink, Mint Green, and Aqua Blue.
Shortly after 6 pm the guests made their way into the aforementioned space and found their seats and a complimentary drink ticket waiting for them as well. There were family and friends that had traveled near and far to be with the evenings celebrities and with a rousing bridal party introduction, a great blessing and equally great food, it was time for toasts and a slideshow.
The best man gave a comedic toast enlightening the bride and groom some very important lessons to take time for each other, to shop for groceries, to eat, sleep, and BE together and last but not least to vacation together. Work less, love and play more. Great words of wisdom for us all! Katie, our maid of honor gave heartfelt emotional recount about the strength of marriage and shared a touching story about a couple who were married 72 years and passed away an hour apart from one another, and how that bond of marriage is so sacred and something to be cherished. After a few tears were shed our lovely bride thanked everyone for the parts they played in helping the reception from concept to execution! There were so many unique touches and help from the graphic designer groomsman who created their monogram, the sister in law Steph who made the delicious cookies, and all the help in transforming the space into their vision.
The dance portion of the evening was also very emotional. Jeff and Addie shared their first dance to a beautiful acoustical version of Bryan Adams – Have you ever loved a woman, followed by not 1, not 2, but 3 dances with Addie and her father Lonnie. The first was a song Addie picked for her dad. I Loved Her First by Heartland, and Lonnie wanted to dance with his daughter to Collin Raye’s Holes in the Floor of Heaven in memory of Addie’s mom Cathy who passed away a day after the brides 12th birthday. In finishing the father / daughter trio we played the John Cafferty classic, on the Darkside to kick things up a notch and for Lonnie to show us his prowess on the dancefloor!
Jeff shared a dance with his mother Joy with Louie Armstrong, What a Wonderful World to end the slower songs and the Bridal Party dance was a rocking one! Pinks Raise Your Glass welcomed friends and family to participate as well!
We were originally scheduled to go until midnight, but this party was just getting started! We ended up playing two additional hours and closing the hotel down at 2 AM with over 100 people still dancing and wanting MORE! We really couldn’t have been more thrilled with the numbers on the dance floor, the requests from young and young at heart!
Jeff and Addie, thank you on behalf of everyone at Pinnacle Productions! You were amazing to work with and we appreciate the opportunity to work with you to create a beautiful atmosphere and awesome music for your wedding celebration!
Sioux Falls Wedding Dj Pinnacle Productions Recaps Kelley and Bryan’s Awesome Wedding Celebration
Every weekend we are honored to help brides and grooms celebrate their biggest days and this weekend we got to help our friend Bryan Voss and his lovely wife Kelley celebrate their nuptials. I (Louie) was very pleased to spend the ceremony, reception, and dance with our newlyweds! During the ceremony it was humorous that the groom, after escorting his grandmother down the aisle, turned in my direction with a thumbs up and that little smirk to confirm that we were ready to get the days events going.
After the beautiful ceremony and exchange of the vows their friends and family made the short trek to the Holiday Inn Express of Brandon where McKensie and the staff had the room ready for the evenings events. The cocktail hour was complete with the normal catching up on conversation and a few toasts from our other roommate Buck who thought it was only right for him to treat what seemed like the whole crowd to a cocktail or three. After a delicious meal and some great toasts and dessert it was time to dance the night away.
We started the formal dances with the timeless Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love and finished the formals with Georgia Satellites – Keep Your Hands To Yourself with the bridal party and other party goers joining in as well! We were having a great time until the main computer crashed. (At this point we have yet to determine the failure but will update soon as to the cause). But with my quick thinking and our company’s strong value in backup’s I pulled out my backup laptop and kept the partying going until the very end.
We ended the night in a huge circle both families including myself surrouding the bride and groom to the song Rocket-man by Elton John. On behalf of myself and everyone at Pinnacle Productions, we wish nothing but the best for our friends Bryan and Kelly Voss.
Matt and Michelle’s Beautiful May Wedding
You know it’s going to be a special wedding when the bridal party names are people you recognize and love! Such was the case for Michelle and Matt’s wedding reception on May 12th at the Sioux Falls Wedding Venue Hilton Garden Inn! The guests were welcomed with the bride and grooms monogram over the entrance and shooting above the head table. To add to the lovely decor we washed the entire room with a beautiful blue and even pin spotted the cake table to make the delicious treat POP in larger than life fashion.
Since we did know most of the bridal party the introductions were explosive! As requested we shouted their names as if we were in a WWE wrestling match much to the amusement of the energized crowd in attendance. Right after the introductions we had a beautiful blessing and a delicious meal courtesy of the banquet staff at the Hilton.
The dancing portion of the evening started with an awesome first dance. They shared a dance to the live version of So High by John Legend complete with the live music video playing in the background of their dance! What a wonderful backdrop and start to the evening!
We were able to help entertain young and old with great musical selections from the beginning of the evening to a rocking last set including the Black Eyed Peas – The Time (Dirty Bit) mixed seemlessly into LMFAO’s Shots to end an awesome evening for the celebrity couple! We even got to do a great garter auction that was presented me (DJ Louie).
We would like to thank the Mr and Mrs Claeys for a great night and thank you for allowing us the HONOR to work with you on your amazing wedding celebration! We wish you the very best as you begin your lives as one!
Sioux Falls Wedding Dj’s Pinnacle Productions Recaps Roxie and Ben’s Wedding Celebration
Roxanne and Ben were married on May 12th, 2012 with their closest friends and family present for an awesome day full of love, happiness, and fun! There wedding reception was held at the Community Center in Redwood Minnesota where food, family, and friends enjoyed a great evening.
Guests arrived to a beautiful room with the bride and grooms favorite complimentary shade of blue uplighting behind the head table and an assortment of tasty treats to welcome them to the newlyweds celebration. The evening kicked off with a rousing bridal party introduction complete with fist pumps, some break dancing, and alot of smiles and love for our celebrities as they were introduced to their awaiting fans!
Great speeches after dinner can be summarized by good old fashioned humor! There wasn’t much sappy thoughts but there was an abundance of joy and excitement as this beautiful couple began the next chapter of their lives!
The dance was one of the best we’ve ever done with a PACKED dance floor all night with oldies, hip hop, dance, even polkas until the very last song with a ton of fun surprises and the traditions well represented as well!
Roxanne and Ben, thank you for allowing me to host and design a great day for the two of you! We couldn’t be more proud to help and we wish you all the best in your journey!
Sioux Falls Wedding Dj’s Pinnacle Productions Recap of Adam and Carrie’s Beautiful Brandon Wedding
On May 12th Pinnacle Productions had the opportunity to provide entertainment and be the Master of Ceremonies at the Brandon Golf Course for Adam and Carrie Bossert’s wedding celebration.
The setting for a wedding in May on the golf course was absolutely amazing. The view from the deck was gorgeous and it was a perfect backdrop with lush green fairways, trees in bloom and one of the nicest days in recent memory, perfect for our beautiful couple.
The bride and groom had family from all over including Colorado and Wisconsin there to share their special day with them. The guests walked into a beautifully lit room with upbeat staff and a fully stocked candy bar with all of its sugary deliciousness!
The brides aunt Cathy was the hostess and it was an absolute pleasure to work beside her to create a great flow for the evenings festivities!. The dance floor was rockin’ with some guests and bridal party requests including a lot of 90′s hip hop, as well as your more traditional oldies and country tunes.
Thank you again Adam and Carrie for allowing me the opportunity be a part of their special day!!

Saturday, May12th, Pinnacle Production had the privilege to work with
Mike and Rachel Gordon for their wedding ceremony and reception. The
ceremony was held at McKennan Sunken Gardens, and was hosted by Terry
Gordon, the grooms uncle. The brides cousins (Sonja, Mikayla, and Elias) provided the music for the ceremony performing an amazing cello performance before and after the service.
After the ceremony, everyone proceeded to the Museum of Visual
Materials for the reception. After cocktail hour, the bridal party was
announced and joined the party to “Marry Tonight”, from Lady Gaga.
Mike and Rachel chose to have a New York Style reception and dances
their first dance together to “Separate” by the group Trampled by Turtles.
Steve Zaudtke, the father of the bride opened the reception and
welcomed everyone. Chef Jeni then began serving salads, and the main course
was served table style followed by a tray of decadent desserts. The
food was amazing, as to be expected by Chef Jeni! During dessert, we all
enjoyed a slide show that Mike and Rachel had prepared.
Toasting time! Steve went first and had one of the best
“Father” toast I have every heard. He told us things he has learned
about Mike, and things he KNOWS about Rachel, in the sense to “warn”
each other about them. Jeff Gordon, Mike’s brother then came up and
gave the traditional Best Man toast, which included some very amusing stories about

most popular request was “Love Shack” by the B52′s… This is a song
that Mike has a personal hatred toward, and all his friends most certainly know
this. Even though large sums of monies were ponied up to “Bribe” us to play the song, We stuck to the DO NOT PLAY portion for this song and kept our groom happy, much to the dismay of some of the guests! It was all in good fun and certainly made for some fun jabs and laughs…
A big THANKS to Walter and Holli from Studio Blu; you guys are amazing
to work with!!! And let’s not forget about Linus Blu (the awesome photobooth)… he helped keep
people entertained during the reception and dance. With all his crazy props and
funny poses, the night was a huge success

Sioux Falls Wedding Dj’s Pinnacle Productions Recap of Nicole and Garett Dulaney’s Wedding
Nicole and Garett Dulaney celebrated their nuptials on April 20th, 2012 in Brandon at the Holiday Inn Express with more than 200 of their closest friends and family. Our lovely bride has been a friend of ours for about 7 years and has been a bridesmaid in a few other weddings and we couldn’t be more happy for her and her love Garett!
Working with the bride and groom we created a custom introduction, a beautifully lit head table area with their favorite shade of purple, and customized the garter auction to implement a new twist! Instead of the traditional “auction” we had the groomsmen and bridesmaids sell playing cards! When someone “bought” the card we tore it in half and had them keep half and put the other in a jar where our bride drew the winner! It was a fun, innovative way to keep people involved and everyone LOVED it!
From beginning of the night to the last dance we were inundated with awesome musical selections to keep everyone engaged and having a great time!
Nicole and Garett, thank you for allowing us the pleasure to work with you to design a beautiful wedding reception! We appreciate your trust to create a great reception and we are fortunate to call you our friends! All the best from everyone at Pinnacle!
Megan and Luke’s Beautiful Golf Course Wedding
Luke and Megan tied the knot on May 12th with their wedding reception at the beautiful Tyler Golf Course in southwest Minnesota. The bride and groom were excited to share their day with their closest family and friends and event had their groomsman Allan Goodroad perform several songs for the enjoyment of the reception attendees
Some fun and unique techniques were employed to keep a fun playful tone throughout the celebration. We played wedding trivia drawing names from a bag to release tables to go through the buffet line. If the bride and groom didn’t know the answer (which they didn’t) they would have to kiss. This was a great way to keep crowd participation throughout the dinner and beginning of the night. There was also a large brass bell at the head table so in order forth bride and groom to kiss, the wedding goers would have to come forth and be the ringer.
The Goodroad Band played the bride and grooms first dance and also the father daughter dance (My Girl – Temptations). The energized crowd was dancing to a collaboration of Hanson’s MMM-Bop, Nicki Minaj – Super Bass, and tons of other requests from young to old.
We are excited to have been part of Megan and Lukes big day and wish the newlyweds all the best!
Shaun and Anna’s Beautiful Old Courthouse Museum Wedding
Shaun and Anna were married April 18th, 2012 at the Old Courthouse in Beautiful downtown Sioux Falls. The shared their vows with about 160 of their favorite people in the courtyard. For the most part of the day the skies were overcast and hinting at rain. Alas the clouds broke and the pending rain stayed away just in time for the processional and provided a beautiful ambiance as they both said “I Do”
The wedding guests made their way to the second floor for a beautiful reception! The room (naturally beautiful with it’s high ceilings, amazing wood floors, and colorful adornments) was up-lit in a beautiful shade of purple that matched the brides favorite color.

Guests enjoyed a bountiful meal courtesy of Johnny Carrino’s and homemade cheesecakes made by the brides awesome mother Joan! No less than 25 cheesecakes of every flavor tempted the guests even before dinner. Some people took the “life’s short, eat dessert first” to heart and delved in before they were able to get the main course from their buffet line.
The toasts were made, dinner was done, dessert was served and we all awaited the bride and grooms first dance. They shared this moment with Allison Krause’s “when you say nothing at all” The guests were treated to open dancing, a great DIY photobooth, and some wicked dance moves!
Shaun and Anna were a great couple to work with and we couldn’t be happier to work with the two of you as you start your new chapter as husband and wife!
