Bryan and Brittney Slama’s Calico Sky Wedding
This past Saturday Pinnacle Productions Sound and Lighting Design had the honor of working with another dynamic couple. Brittney and Bryan said their vows on a picturesque hilltop at the beautiful Calico Skies Winery and Vineyard. We worked with a cellist and pianist and their soloist to provide a perfect outdoor ceremony for their guests. The weather was cooperative for an August gala with no rain, temps in the high 70′s and a slight breeze over the hilltop. The ceremony was devine!
The celebration continued inside the reception hall where elegant center pieces and purple lighting set the mood for the evening. After the meal and cake cutting, Brittney and Bryan danced their first dance to Keith Urban – Only you can love me this way. The highlight of the dance was when a few of their guests worked the floor with LMFAO’s- Party Rock Anthem, and KNEW the moves to the song….Everyday I’m shufflin!
On behalf of everyone at Pinnacle Productions, thank you for allowing us to entertain and provide sound for your celebration! We wish you the very best as you begin your lives together!
Melissa and Jason Eggers Wedding in Colton SD
Taopi Hall in Colton was transformed on Saturday August 13th for Melissa and Jason Egger’s wedding celebration! The walls were draped in fabulous white curtains with beautiful red uplighting and a custom Monogram. In the corner we added one of our large screens where a slideshow played during dinner hour.
Our awesome couple arrived a little after 5 in the H1 Limo and lined up the friends and family in the bridal party for a high energy introduction to kick off the night! After a short blessing the guests were treated to a picnic style food spread complete with brats, burgers and home made salads and chips to round out the family friendly dinner.
Dancing started before the formals with children and adults both getting on the dance floor for some party preludes while the bridal party visited the local watering hole. Upon the arrival of our Bride and Groom we formally started the dances and this awesome crowd partied from the very beginning to the end. Musical selections from the 50′s to the hottest hits packed the floor!
Music videos for the Cha Cha Slide and Cupid Shuffle played as well as other awesome 80′s songs like Def Leppard, Love Shack, and even Usher’s YEAH! The lighting added to the infectious energy as one by one, everyone was enjoying themselves with plenty of socializing, dancing, and fun was had by all!
Mr and Mrs Egger, thank you for allowing us the opportunity to work with you and provide an awesome, elegant, and fun atmosphere for you and your guests! We’re blessed to have clients like you! Best wishes as you begin your new chapter!

Brandon and Robins beautiful wedding celebration at the El Riad Shrine
What a beautiful wedding this past Saturday with Brandon and Robin Reiter! The reception was at the beautiful El Riad Shrine in downtown Sioux Falls. The bridal party introductions started the party with a high energy display of some pretty good dance moves leading to our bride and grooms first dance. The bridesmaids and groomsmen circled the dance floor and watched as Robin and Brandon danced with their monogram showing on the dance floor.
We provided uplighting and custom drapes with elegant blue lighting for their backdrop. The centerpieces were also gorgeous, long, slender vases with blue lighting shining through them as well.
The guests enjoyed a bountiful buffet of chicken, pork loin, cheesy hash browns, carrots and for desert a massive candy bar with licorice, chocolates, sour gummy bears and a cotton candy machine!
The dance started around 8 pm with our bride and her father sharing a special dance, and finished at 12:05 with a full dance floor from beginning to end! We were once again reminded about how we truly have the greatest jobs ever! We get to entertain and provide ambiance to a beautiful room with an equally beautiful couple!
Robin and Brandon, you were so much fun to get to know and plan your celebration with! We couldn’t have been happier to work with you and your guests and hope you had as much fun as we did! Thanks again!
Sioux Falls Wedding Dj Pinnacle Productions Recaps Kevin and Nicole Pick Wedding
This past Friday night (August 5th) Pinnacle Productions was proud to help entertain the friends and family of Kevin and Nicole Pick at the beautiful Sioux Falls Convention Center. When the doors opened at 6:30 they guests were greeted by a beautifully up-lit ice sculpture (see pics) and the walls behind the head table were washed in the Pick’s favorite shade of aqua marine blue.
Appetizers including pork loin and cuban sandwiches, chicken wellington, wings, and other delectable desserts prepared by the on site catering staff and were served before the bridal party introductions.
During the dinner we played a slideshow compiled of pictures from the time the bride and groom met including adorable shots of their 16 month old son Spence. We also designed a custom slide that was used as the backdrop before and after the slideshow and made an excellent backdrop for their formal dances as well.
The guests were interactive and requested some amazing dance tunes rocking the party until the very end! We played music videos from yesterday and today, all the time fielding request after request and even getting little Spence to check out the dj setup on multiple occasions, he just may end up being a professional dj someday too! But the highlight of the night was when the brides friends Amanda and Laura sang a couple songs from their college days in Madison.
Kevin and Nicole you’ve been so much fun to work with and get to know over the past 5-6 years and we were honored to have had the opportunity to help you and your family and friend celebrate this amazing day with you all! On behalf of all of us at Pinnacle Productions, congratulations and best wishes as you continue to build your lives together!

Another AMAZING and HOT outdoor wedding in Lake Poinsett!
Saturday July 30th, 2011 Pinnacle Productions was proud to help Tyler and Amanda Anderson celebrate their wedding reception at the beautiful Arlington Beach Resort. Ideal Weddings and Events erected a HUGE 40 x 80 tent right on the beach about 20 feet from the cool waters of Lake Poinsett. We arrived about 6 hours early to setup both audio and tent lighting as well. We strung up 20 uplights to the sidewalls of the tent in the couples yellow and green colors and a full dj setup with as well… All in 100 degree heat under the tent.
The Bride and groom arrived via PONTOON boat off the north shore and we did our bridal party introductions to LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” all the while the bridesmaids and groomsmen were fist pumpin and getting the energy elevated right away! After our blessing by Paster Wanda McNeil the guests were treated to a great meal from the 1481 Grill in Arlington SD. The menu for the evening was smoked roast beef (maybe brisket), Italian pasta salad, garlic mashed potatoes, and a fruit salad as well. For desert we were treated to “Cake Bites”. Think cake CUBES dipped in chocolate. These encapsulated bites of goodness were available in at least three flavors. We MAY have tried each flavor, but the world may never know!
The speeches from the best man and maid of honor were a Top Ten reasons why Tyler and Amanda were meant to be which was both hilarious and sweet. The brides mom and dad also gave great speeches about how fond they were of their new stepson and their journey to begin their lives together.
The dance started around 8:30 as the sun was setting in the west and the tent lighting, which were hard to see before, were washing the roof of the tent and looked absolutely gorgeous! The bride and groom danced to Adele’s version of “to make you feel my love” (a song made popular by Garth Brooks) and the father daughter and groom mother dances followed by the bridal party dance. And then BOOM! The dance floor was packed from the very first song to the end of the night at 1:30! There were the traditional dollar dance and garter auction, but the vibe was fun and the dance floor was as hot as the afternoon deep into the night!
Thank you Tyler and Amanda for allowing us to spend the day with you and your family and friends! You were an amazing couple to work with and your reception was absolutely awesome!
