Every week we are contacted by at least one blushing, excited, and often overwhelmed bride looking for an entertainer for her wedding reception.  There is no doubt that that sudden joy can easily turn into a stressful situation.  There are so many decisions that the new couple must make in a relatively short amount of time and more often then not, this is the first time either the bride or groom have planned something of this magnitude.

Prom season is here again and we’re fortunate to be providing entertainment for several area proms again this season.  Along with the normal entertainment setups, several schools are adding lighting elements to their budget in an effort to conserve money and landfill space.

We’ve been working to help enhance the design element by incorporating uplighting, monograms, textures and other techniques to add beauty and coordinate with the other decor as well.

For almost two years the community of Dell Rapids was without a large ballroom for area celebrations.  For years couples celebrated their wedding day, anniversaries and birthdays at the Accoustic Hall but since it’s sale and conversion to a church, the town was in dire need to have it’s OWN facility to keep tax dollars and jobs local.

This all changed in the past year!  Now we have TWO beautiful venues for Dell Rapids area people to host their respected parties.  Last year we saw the conversion of the old “Dell Rapids Ford” into an event center and this year the Old 77 Bar and Grill remodeled a former gun range into their new Ballroom..  This Sunday they had their first open house for the new endeavor.

We were fortunate to work with the owners and banquet coordinators to showcase our  lighting design.  Uplighting, pin-spotting, and monograms were showcased and we visited with several people excited to have another option for their events in Dell Rapids.
