Wedding season has begun here in Sioux Falls and we couldn’t be more happy about that way it started. We have been working with Ross and Heidi planning their wedding reception for quite some time and had earlier mentioned an idea to drop a voiceover in her dance with her dad. Admittedly I thought the idea had lost traction since we hadn’t discussed it for months. BUT she really thought it would be an amazing surprise. Indeed..
The song was already picked out. She knew where she wanted to put it and even had a script. I read her script and was moved as well. She really had a fondness for her dad and was very very animate about not wanting it to sound scripted, and didn’t mention it to anyone but her fiance and myself. We scheduled a time to do the recording and a week later, here we are! The voiceover was great, she was calm collected and did a spectacular job.

Bridal shows have always been one of the best ways for those in the industry to showcase our work and to educate the brides and grooms what we do and why we should be considered for their wedding. This Sunday 3/6/2011 will be our last winter / spring bridal show for the season. We’ve been to shows in Sioux Falls (twice), Sioux City, Mitchell, Marshall (twice), and Brookings. At each and everyone we’ve met some amazing people! Brides, Grooms, “planners”, and friends have been exposed to what we do and several have chosen Pinnacle Productions for their lighting and entertainment needs.
Bridal shows are also an opportunity to meet and network with other bridal professionals as well. From photographers, videographers, and even other entertainers we’ve been lucky to discuss the industry, trends, and learn much from one another…
To all the brides, grooms and vendors, thank you for taking the time to get to know us, and we look forward to another great wedding season!
